Maple French Rolling Pin

This French rolling pin is hand turned from maple.

Width: 1.7 inches (at the middle of the rolling pin).

How to care for your wood rolling pin - normally all you have to do is wipe it with a clean dish towel.  If you have stubborn bits that stick to the rolling pin first wipe it with a damp cloth and then wipe it dry with a cloth or paper towel.  NEVER EVER put a wooden rolling pin in the dishwasher!  Dishwashers can cause your wood rolling pin to split and or warp.  Sometimes if the rolling pin gets wet you may feel some rough spots on the rolling pin after it drys.  This is from the wood grain raising.  If this happens just give the rolling pin a very light sanding with 400 grit sanding paper.  Then wipe the rolling pin with a damp paper towel and then wipe it down with a dry paper towel.  If you have any questions please contact us at turningsandcrafts@gmail.com.
